About the Owners Club
The Owners Club was created by ClubCorp in 1994 after they asked their Members what they wanted when it came to second home ownership and vacations. They said they wanted "a private club experience" while on vacation that included being in a detached single family home, thus, The Owners Club was born and is now fully Member owned.
The Owners Club at Barton Creek broke ground in 1999 and has become a unique fractional ownership property that allows our Members to have a second home in the Texas Hill Country just minutes from downtown Austin and surrounding areas. The homes are located along the golf courses and are surrounded by the serenity of the natural landscapes that are unique to the Austin area.
When in residence you will enjoy full access to the Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa with special Member discounts in dining and retail as well as "cart fee only" golf and special rates for your guests that accompany you on your visits.

As an owner at The Owners Club at Barton Creek you own a deeded 1/13th interest in one of our 24 units and have a minimum of 27 nights to use annually. We have a Central Reservations department that handles all reservation requests and an on-site property management team that will assist you with booking tee times, dinner reservations grocery deliveries and much more!

No, The Owners Club at Barton Creek is a fractional ownership property. Each membership is allotted 27 nights a year to use.

No, The Owners Club at Barton Creek is a private members only vacation property.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM UNABLE TO USE ALL 27 NIGHTS AFTER THE YEAR ENDS?
Our calendar year is actually from March-March and once the deadline has passed for members to use their inventory for that year, the nights will expire and each membership starts fresh with the same amount of inventory- 27 nights.
HOW MANY NIGHTS CAN BE USED AT ONE TIME?
Reservations booked in advance can be made in increments of: 3, 4, 7, 10, 11, 14, 21 or 27 nights.
Check in days are: Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Reservations booked last minute or within 30 days of the date of arrival can be booked in any amount of time.
(example: 1, 2, 5, 6 nights) as long as there is open availability.

ARE THERE RESTRICTIONS ON DATES?
The only requirement is that (6) inventory nights must be used during our 'slow' time know as Sports Season which typically runs from the beginning of December through the middle of March when our calendar year ends. However, this excludes the week of Christmas & New Year due to the higher demand for the holidays.
All other nights can be used at anytime.

CAN MULTIPLE HOMES BE BOOKED FOR THE SAME TIME FRAME?
Yes, members may reserve as many homes as they wish during one period of time as long as they have the inventory.
HOW MANY NIGHTS MAY I RESERVE AT AN AFFILIATE PROPERTY?
Members may reserve up to (7) nights within any one Affiliate Club in each Club Year. However, there are two instances that allow a Member to reserve more than seven nights at an Affiliate Club: Less than thirty days prior to a requested arrival date, a Member can either request additional nights from their inventory, or they can request to use Bonus Nights.
WHAT ARE BONUS NIGHTS?
Bonus Nights are additional inventory nights that can be purchased for $240/night. Members can request bonus nights if they either do not want to use their current inventory or if a member has already used all of their time for the calendar year.
Bonus nights may only be booked less than 30 days prior to the desired date of arrival and are only available for Owners Club members. Unaccompanied guest cannot make use of bonus nights.

WHAT IS THE GUEST POLICY?
Members are welcome to send guests to use their vacation time.
Advanced notification is required if guests will be checking into the home in place of an Owners Club member.

HOW DO I MAKE RESERVATIONS?
Reservations are typically booked a year in advance. Please view our Reservation Information Page for more detailed info.
Members are always welcome to call our Central Reservations Department at anytime to find availability throughout the year or for possible last minute bookings but to truly get the most out of The Owners Club vacation experience, reservations should be submitted on or before the due dates stated on our Reservation Information page.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
If a Member calls more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date to request the reduction of nights for a reservation of seven or more nights, then The Owners Club Central Reservations will cancel the Member’s existing reservation and return their inventory.

Unfortunately, we have a strict no pet policy for our homes.

Yes, all 24 homes are:

HOW FAR AWAY IS THE OWNERS CLUB FROM DOWNTOWN AUSTIN?
It takes approximately 30 minutes to get to the heart of downtown Austin from The Owners Club at Barton Creek and about the same amount of time to get to the Austin Bergstrom airport.
CAN UBER OR LYFT PICK UP FROM THE CLUB HOMES?
Yes. Uber, Lyft, Ride Austin and Yellow Cab are all available for travel services in our area.
DO I HAVE TO STAY IN THE SAME HOME EVERY TIME I VISIT?
No. To help with reservation purposes, members can be placed in different homes. If a member has a preference on which home they would like to be in, requests can be made in advance and the office staff will do their best to accommodate the request.
DO YOU OFFER "TRY BEFORE YOU BUY" STAYS?
We are unable to offer try before you buy stays due to our contractual agreements with Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, and it is also in the Bi-Laws that our homes cannot be rented out. Only current owners are allowed to book reservations at The Owners Club.
WHAT IS THE CURRENT AMOUNT PAID IN ANNUAL DUES?
$6,400.00
This amount has stayed the same for the past two years and our Board of Directors works hard to keep the increases minimal when possible.
(They are all Owners as well, which helps them keep the well being of both the collective ownership and the property itself in mind when making decisions.)

WHAT DO THE ANNUAL DUES GO TOWARDS?
Annual dues cover a multitude of items such as: Maintaining and fixing any maintenance or structural issues that arise, grounds work, all utilities, replacement of appliances and other items in the homes if something were to break, home insurance, property taxes, a part time membership to the Country Club (for the allotted 27 nights per year), and much more.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER COSTS THAT I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
The only other costs that our Owners incur are the cleaning fees.
For each visit, there is a $160 departure cleaning fee. For stays 7 nights or longer, a mid week cleaning will also be be required and will be an additional $80 for the service.
You visit, have fun, and when you leave, we clean up!
