bLANTON mUSEUM OF aRTThe Jack S. Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin is one of the largest university art museums in the U.S. with 189,340 square feet devoted to temporary exhibitions, permanent collection galleries, storage, administrative offices, classrooms, a print study room, an auditorium, shop, and cafe. The Blanton's permanent collection consists of almost 18,000 works.

LBJ LIBRARY Situated on a 30-acre site on The University of Texas campus in Austin, Texas, the Library houses 45 million pages of historical documents, 650,000 photos and 5,000 hours of recordings from President Johnson's political career, including about 643 hours of his recorded telephone conversations. The iconic ten-story building was designed by award-winning architect Gordon Bunshaft and features a Great Hall with a stunning four-story, glass-encased view of the archives collection.

AUSTIN HISTORY CENTERAs the local history division of the Austin Public Library, the Austin History Center provides the public with information about the history, current events, and activities of Austin and Travis County. The Austin History Center's rich collections and expert staff support exhibits, programs, and research by the public in our Reading Room six days per week.

Nature & Science
AUSTIN NATURE & SCIENCE CENTERSince 1960, the Austin Nature & Science Center (ANSC) has provided hands-on nature exhibits, educational programs and recreational activities for countless visitors, teachers, and children of all ages that increases awareness and appreciation of the natural environment. Programs for preschoolers, kids, families, and adults include topics that range from biology, astronomy, paleontology, and more. Centrally located in Austin on the western edge of Zilker Park, the ANSC is dedicated to the exploration of the natural world.

sCIENCE & tECHNOLOGY MUSEUMFor almost 13 years they were known as the Austin Planetarium. They traveled around the central Texas area with our mobile planetarium doing shows, events, and outreach programs. In March 2015, The Museum of Science & Technology set up in an interim facility in Cedar Park.
